About Kosmonaut
Kosmonaut is the 1990 original of SkyRoads. Its title screen reads SkyRoads, copyright 1990 TIW Systems, programmed by Jaan Tallinn, Ahti Heinla and Priit Kasesalu, who went on to found Bluemoon Interactive. You fly a hover ship down floating roads, jumping gaps and watching your fuel.
Bluemoon offers it on its own website to see and try the game in whole. This page runs the original DOS file unmodified using js-dos, which runs DOSBox in your browser. Bluemoon published no distribution terms for it, so it is hosted under this site's removal policy and taken down on request.
Controls
- ↑ ↓: speed up / slow down (or change road in the list)
- ← →: steer
- Space: jump / play the chosen road
- Esc: quit to the menu
Keyboard and mouse work best. On-screen buttons appear for the keys the game needs on a touch screen.
