How to play Bookworm Adventures

PopCap’s Bookworm Adventures combines word formation with turn-based battles. It is distinct from the original Bookworm word puzzle. This player runs your original trial files through a browser-compiled compatibility runtime.

About this browser edition

The unchanged original 2007 trial is the verified edition, and its trial limits still apply. Retail compatibility, complete campaign behavior and exact audio parity remain unverified.

Testing evidence and sources

Retained Chromium checks cover the original tutorial word PLAY, attacking, enemy defeat, Cassandra dialogue, original audio and a first-chapter battle restored after closing and reopening the browser. Bottom controls, imports and sound settings were checked in Chromium, Firefox and Linux WebKit.

Retail compatibility, whole-campaign behavior and saves beyond the checked first-chapter battle remain unverified. Touch layouts are emulated; physical phones and actual Safari have not been validated.
