What our checks establish
Engine checks exercise mechanics, map records and progression. Chromium browser checks exercise launch, controls, rendering, imports, audio and selected playthroughs. Screenshots show captured scenes. None alone establishes that a whole game matches its original Windows edition.
Firefox and Linux Playwright WebKit checks cover the four recreations’ launch, keyboard gameplay, audio, pause and controls, Claw demo gameplay and import recovery, and Bookworm import recovery and original intro/audio. WebKit on Linux is not actual Safari. Phone layouts and touch input use browser emulation. Firefox and Linux Playwright WebKit have scoped hosted checks. Actual Safari and physical phones remain untested. Bookworm’s first-chapter battle was restored in Chromium after a full browser close/reopen. Complete campaigns, retail compatibility, Claw checkpoints and saves beyond that Bookworm battle need separate checks.
Earlier full-suite runs recorded resource failures and Dig timeouts; isolated reruns passed the affected scenarios. Combined coverage is not a single clean full-suite run. Repeated hard reloads under software rendering also encountered graphics resource failures.
Feudalism II
Chromium checks cover separate stats and equipment, shared XP, town and world transitions, siege and champion spawning, revival, defeat checkpoints, zero-gold saves, host refresh, guest reconnect, clean-browser save import and nonblank relay video. Deterministic fixtures drive transitions and deaths in the original engine.
A complete normal-input world conquest, physical computers on different networks, mobile controls and all quest variants remain unverified. The host owns the campaign and keeps the tab open. Battle checkpoints return to the last saved town.
Sammy the Suricate
Retained checks cover normal-input completion of all eight recreated trails, keyboard and simultaneous touch controls, menus, pause and local progress in Chromium.
Full native-game comparison, actual Safari and physical phones have not been established. Firefox and Linux WebKit have scoped launch, gameplay, audio and control checks. Repeated reloads under software-rendered Chromium encountered graphics resource failures.
Bud Redhead: The Time Chase
Retained browser checks cover first-course gameplay, keyboard and touch controls, menus, pause, original audio and the progression interface in Chromium.
A complete campaign playthrough and exact Windows-game parity have not been established. Load Game starts the highest unlocked browser course afresh; it does not restore an exact checkpoint.
Lost Idols: Puzzle Crusade
Retained checks cover recovered map records, rendered campaign scenes, first-puzzle progression, camera controls, editor import/export, audio and touch layouts in Chromium.
Rendering all maps is not normal-input completion of all puzzles. Exact Windows movement, collision, effects and audio parity remain unverified.
Dig McDug
Retained checks cover recovered maps, engine movement, first-mine browser play, settings, audio and touch layouts in Chromium. First-mine completion passed in an isolated rerun after full-suite timing failures.
Complete browser-campaign completion, native timing parity and physical-device compatibility remain unverified. An isolated pass does not establish reliable full-suite timing.
Captain Claw
Retained Chromium checks cover the original demo menu, La Roca gameplay, keyboard and held touch movement, local imports, fullscreen and observed mixer audio.
Level completion, native checkpoint restoration, full retail compatibility, exact audio parity and physical-device behavior remain unverified. Game files are not supplied or uploaded by this player.
Bookworm Adventures
Retained Chromium checks cover the original tutorial word PLAY, attacking, enemy defeat, Cassandra dialogue, original audio and a first-chapter battle restored after closing and reopening the browser. Bottom controls, imports and sound settings were checked in Chromium, Firefox and Linux WebKit.
Retail compatibility, whole-campaign behavior and saves beyond the checked first-chapter battle remain unverified. Touch layouts are emulated; physical phones and actual Safari have not been validated.
Sources and reproduction
Game pages explain the scope of original-developer or runtime sources. Our own behavior claims come from retained validation and recovery records, not third-party endorsement.
We distinguish input-driven completion from rendering or programmatically advanced progression, decoded audio from observed mixer output, and local checks from hosted verification.
The source repository retains reproducible checks, input hashes and detailed reports. Private archives, raw operator records and correspondence are not exposed here.
